No LED  Lights Needed

/

Much of the discomfort and other concerns that result from teeth whitening are caused by harmful LED lamps and lasers used to activate the whitening gel. No LED lights are used for our at-home or in-office treatments, but you'll still get the same or better whitening results.

Ingredients Found in  KöR Whitening Products

Each KöR whitening product has a different chemical makeup. The type you choose will depend on the time you have to wear the product and how dramatically you want to whiten your teeth.

KöR-Night

Since KöR-Night is worn for a longer period, the kit comes with KöR-Seal whitening trays that keep the gel, made up of 16% carbamide peroxide, in place throughout the night.

KöR-Day

The KöR-Day Whitening System is made with 9% hydrogen peroxide that's intended to be worn for shorter periods than KöR-Night and without the KöR-Seal whitening trays.

KöR Max

KöR Max patients will use the KöR-Night 16% carbamide peroxide gel before coming into the office. The in-office treatment is a 34% Dual-Activated, Tri-Barrel Hydremide® Peroxide gel.

Did You Know? Teeth Whitening Cleans Your Teeth

/

General dentistry check-ups are necessary for maintaining your overall health, but teeth whitening also rids the teeth of plaque and tartar.

The KöR Refrigeration Process For Reduced Tooth Sensitivity

All whitening products can potentially cause a bit of sensitivity because of the powerful ingredients they’re made with, but KöR uses a special refrigeration process to protect sensitive teeth.
All our whitening products come with a desensitizing gel that helps minimize sensitive teeth after treatment.

Manufacturing

Room-temperature whitening products are made with chemical stabilizers to keep the gel fresh until it gets to the customer.

These chemical stabilizers are a large reason why sensitivity results from teeth whitening. Since KöR whitening products are refrigerated, there are no chemical stabilizers used in manufacturing.

Storage

Unlike generic whitening products that sit at room temperature on store shelves, KöR whitening products are refrigerated the entire time they're in storage at KöR's warehouse.

Transportation

KöR products continue their refrigeration journey through transportation from the warehouse to delivery to our office. This ensures that the product's quality isn't diminished while traveling in slow freight trucks with unstable temperatures.

Delivery

Thanks to KöR's unique refrigeration process, when the product is applied in our office, it's as fresh as the day it was made.

Perfect Your Teeth After Orthodontics

/

You've put in the time to straighten your teeth with braces or Invisalign, but you've noticed your teeth are less bright than they used to be. If your smile has dulled from orthodontic treatment or you're seeing spots where your brackets used to be, teeth whitening can polish off remaining surface stains for whiter teeth.

Understanding Types of Staining

Teeth whitening is a great way to dip your toe into cosmetic dentistry. However, there may be better whitening solutions for your needs, depending on your stains.

Extrinsic Stains

Extrinsic stains, also known as surface stains, can be treated with our KöR whitening products because they originate on the surface of your teeth. These stains are usually caused by drinking dark beverages, eating darkly colored foods, and smoking or chewing tobacco.

Intrinsic Stains

Intrinsic stains originate from within the tooth and can be caused by oral injury or certain medications. Although KöR products can address these stains more than other professional whitening systems, veneers may still be a better solution to treat intrinsic stains.

Dental Veneers Cover Up  Intrinsic Stains

Veneers are thin porcelain shells placed on top of your natural teeth to cover any discoloration, cracks, or dental concerns you may have. Dental veneers are an ideal treatment if you have intrinsic stains that teeth whitening products cannot treat. Veneers are also stain-resistant, so you can have bright, white teeth for years to come.
